I always thought I would be a developer. I graduated from the University of British Columbia for engineering but during the Covid-19 pandemic, I decided to pursue front-end web development at British Columbia Institute of Technology with an eye on full stack development.

My stint at British Columbia Institute of Technology introduced me to some design classes, and I realized that I was truly passionate about designing interfaces for web and mobile. I decided to switch my career trajectory into the design field and I am currently working at Billboard Worldwide, a design agency that works with the largest brands in the world.

The variety of twists and turns in my journey has been the highlight of my life. Many fields have influenced me and it has opened my mind to constantly look for problems and design solutions for them. Now, I support designers in the Vancouver Design Community and write articles on Medium for other individuals looking for advice.
